Help out local kids and their families in their battle against cancer and life beyond the disease by joining us at the vineyard to drum, dance. eat, drink and enjoy the beauty of the vineyards. Special Guests performing- Jesse White Tumbling Team , Fire Dancers Troupe! GET YOUR TICKETS NOW – Registration at the bottom of this page You can also pay the day of the event when entering Bring a LAWN CHAIR for yard seating, or call 309-359-9463 to reserve deck seating $5per person. Schedule for the evening Arrival suggested 530-7pm 630-7pm, sharing of drums and some instruction by facilitator and drummer Natasha Greene* some drums will be available to borrow during the circle time, first come first serve or bring your own! 7-7:45pm -Drum circle with the Fire Dancers 7:45-8:30pm The Jesse White Tumbling Team 8:45-11pm Coco Loco concert DURING THE NIGHT *Costume contests for kids , big and small! *Face painting and sidewalk chalk drawing areas *Drum making station for the kids Drummers, Musicians, Dancers, Hula Hoopers and Spinners are all welcome. Kids of ALL Sizes can join in our drum circle celebration for the official beginning of summer on the Summer Solstice at Mackinaw Valley Vineyard. There will be some drums available for participants to use and people are encouraged to bring their own drums and percussion instruments to join in the drumming. So dust off your hula hoops, capes, tambourines, fairy wings and other fun props to dance with in the circle, have fun and help our local kids. Of course you can just sit back and enjoy watching the circle too! Once the sun has set the band Coco Loco, known for their Jimmy Buffett style island flair, will continue with great dance music until 11pm.
