Event Description:
FIRST EVER!! Country Idol Competition sponsored by 107.7 & 92.1 THE BULL Bloomington-Normal radio stattion and Mackinaw Valley Vineyard. There will be prizes for first and second place winners and the first place winner will receive a cash prize and also a recording session at Eclipse Recording Studios in Bloomington Normal. Eclipse Studio will do full tracking, mixing, and mastering during a five hour recording session with the competition winner. There will be an opening band (TBA) to entertain from 5-7pm, Contestants will perform between 7-930pm. then the band will close out the evening from 930-11pm.

Entries may be acapella or with musical accompaniment.

Entries will be reviewed and finalists for the competition will be contacted in advance for the July 21st competition. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Colon Cancer Alliance , supporting early screening and colon cancer education and research. Admission is $10per person for the concert and contest, kids 12 & under are free.
